Meet Shalynne
Shalynne Jackson is the Founder and Principal Strategist of Sonder Strategies, a consulting firm dedicated to strengthening workplace culture by enhancing the employee experience. With a strong commitment to equity, Shalynne brings extensive experience in implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies across diverse industries—from Fortune 500 corporations to local government and nonprofits.
Shalynne's impactful contributions extend beyond consulting. She currently serves as the Membership Chair for SHRM’s Oklahoma Human Resources State Council (OKHR) and is a member of Schnake Turnbo Franks’ I&D Advisory Committee. Additionally, she plays a vital role on the board of ReMerge, a comprehensive diversion program.
Shalynne is recognized as a 2024 Oklahoma Magazine 40 Under 40 honoree. In 2023, Shalynne’s outstanding work earned her recognition as a Notable DEI Leader by 405 Business Magazine and as one of the Metro’s Most Influential Leaders.
A graduate of The University of Oklahoma, Shalynne holds a Master of Human Relations degree. She is also a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City’s Signature class 40. Lastly, she is a qualified administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), a cross-cultural assessment of intercultural competence.
